Me

I’m a journalism student at USC Annenberg, an aspiring reporter, and a full-time news junkie. I write because I have to - it's how I make sense of what’s happening in the world and what’s happened to me. I also laminate surfboards - a trade I’ve worked in for six years. I was one of the only girls in the factory, but I built a family inside those walls. That experience didn’t just callous my hands - it shaped my voice. My work blends opinion, reporting, and personal narrative, often shaped by the places I’ve been: the newsroom, the picket line, and the factory floor. Writing is how I uplift stories that often go unheard - stories that matter, even when no one’s asking. This site is my portfolio, my archive, and my way of speaking up.
